Manchester United’s biggest struggles this season have come from attacking areas as United have scored the fourth-fewest goals in the Premier League. 

They have been somewhat rescued by the fact that they have kept the second-most clean sheets in the division, however, Ruben Amorim needs to add goals to this United team.

The Red Devils go into the new manager’s reign off the back of a 3-0 win against Leicester City in what was Ruud Van Nistelrooy’s final game in interim charge of the club.

United could look to sign a striker in the January transfer window to boost their goal numbers and make a push closer to the Champions League positions which is an outside target for Manchester United this season.
