Manchester United are considering a potential deal involving Marcus Rashford and Napoli striker Victor Osimhen.
The Red Devils are reportedly exploring an exchange that would see the two players swap clubs before the January transfer window closes.
Rashford is valued at £60m by United, while Osimhen’s release clause is worth £62m, so there is scope for an agreement and fans on X are excited by the prospect of the move going ahead:

Swap deals are usually difficult but I think this would be a great move for both players so I’d be very much behind it.

Osimhen is currently playing in Turkey
After a transfer to Chelsea collapsed in the summer, the Nigerian international ended up joining Galatasaray on a season-long loan.
However, it is believed that there is a break clause that will allow Napoli to sell him in January if an attractive enough offer is received.
The striker has expressed a desire to play for United in the past
Speaking in November 2023 to former Chelsea midfielder John Obi Mikel on his podcast, Osimhen revealed the two Premier League clubs he has the most affinity with:
“I don’t have a favourite Premier League team but I have two jerseys: Chelsea and Man United. Many friends of mine are Chelsea fans, [a] few are Man Utd fans. [The] Premier League is the most appreciated league by every African player – it’s a huge league.”
Those comments would suggest that Osimhen would jump at the chance of moving to Old Trafford if it becomes a possibility.
