Manchester United may have to sell several players in January due to the amount of money that they’ve spent in recent seasons.
Under Erik Ten Hag, the Red Devils spent over £600 million and they currently sit 13th in the Premier League which perhaps shows that not all of that money was at all well spent.
According to the Telegraph, new manager Ruben Amorim will have to work under a tight budget at United at least in the initial year of his tenure due to the amount that the club has spent in recent years.
The higher-ups at United believe that Amorim can get the most out of their current squad and have no plans to allow him to spend and overhaul the team like Erik Ten Hag.
This means that the new United boss may have to see several players depart before he can get into signing fresh faces, but who could be in line to leave.
