Man United Keen On £65m Standout Euro 2024 Star As Rivals Circle

Following Raphael Varane’s departure and the age of now free-agent Jonny Evans, Manchester United have identified Crystal Palace centre back Marc Guehi as a possible target given their need to reinforce their central defensive options.

According to Sky Sports reporter Dharmesh Sheth on GiveMeSport, United are keen on Guehi as they look to add reinforcements in defence.

Guehi is one of four names that have been revealed as possible United targets after they had a £35 million bid rejected by Everton for Jarrad Branthwaite.

Sheth claims that they hold interest in three other defenders alongside Guehi.

The Crystal Palace defender has emerged as a star during England’s Euro 2024 campaign filling the void that was left by Harry Maguire.

Liverpool and Chelsea are also keen on the 23 year-old so United may have to produce a lofty bid if they want to seal his signing.

How much could Marc Guehi cost this summer?

According to the Telegraph, Crystal Palace are to demand at least a fee of £65 million for Guehi, a similar valuation that Everton have set for Jarrad Branthwaite.

Guehi’s value has shot up of late. not just because of his excellent performances for England, but also due to him having a fantastic season for Palace.

The Ivorian-born defender made 25 appearances for Palace in a season where he had to overcome a knee injury that he suffered in February.
