Paris Saint-Germain are unwilling to back down on their €60m (£51.5m) asking price for Manchester United target Manuel Ugarte, according to The Telegraph.
The Red Devils have already agreed personal terms with the Uruguayan international but they are not willing to match the player’s valuation.
If they do make a formal bid for Ugarte, it is believed that their proposal will be significantly below what PSG want. Supporters on X have been discussing whether the club should continue pursuing the midfielder:

Could offering Sancho be a solution?
Despite seemingly being reintegrated into the first-team setup, there are still lingering doubts about Jadon Sancho’s future at Old Trafford.
Journalist Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that PSG have been talking with the winger’s agent, so a potential swap deal involving Ugarte could be proposed if a straight cash bid is not on the cards.
United have considered alternatives to Ugarte
Reports suggest that Erik ten Hag’s side have held discussions with the agent of Burnley’s Sander Berge. The Norwegian international may only cost a fraction of what it would take to land Ugarte. A bid of around £20m could be accepted.
There was also interest in Monaco’s Youssouf Fofana but it appears as if the Frenchman is set to make the move to AC Milan. Going back in for Sofyan Amrabat before the transfer window shuts also can’t be completely ruled out.
