‘Poor Choice’ ‘Awful Transfer Target’ Fans Discuss Reports That United Could Pursue £25M Rated Playmaker

Manchester United are weighing up a move for Leicester City midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, according to 90min.com.

The website claims that an “initial enquiry” has been made to the 25-year-old’s representatives with the Red Devils set to challenge Brighton for the player’s signature.

While some fans on X would be open to Dewsbury-Hall moving to Old Trafford, the majority are sceptical that he has what takes to play for the club:

Dewsbury-Hall has had a great season for Leicester

The Foxes are currently top of the Championship and the midfielder has played a key role, having scored 10 league goals and provided 12 assists so far this campaign.

Dewsbury-Hall is very much a playmaker in the mould of Christian Eriksen and, with the Dane likely to leave United at the end of the season, he could be seen as a cost-effective replacement.

United could secure his services for a reasonable fee

90min report that Leicester’s asking price for Dewsbury-Hall could be as low as £25m, which would make him a very attractive target.

It would allow United to invest more in other areas of the pitch, whilst adding real quality in the middle of the pitch. Considering that Dewsbury-Hall’s valuation was £45m in January, though, there are still doubts over whether he will really be available for a cut-price deal.
