Manchester United striker Joshua Zirkzee is set to leave the club for Juventus during the transfer window after reportedly agreeing to a move this week.
The Dutch attacker signed from Bologna during the summer transfer window for a fee of £36.5m, but has struggled to find form since moving to Old Trafford.
Zirkzee, 23, has scored three goals in 20 Premier League matches this season, including a goal on his debut in a 1-0 win against Fulham under Erik Ten Hag.
However, it looks like after six months at Old Trafford, the attacker could already be on his way out. According to Italian outlet, Gazzetta dello Sport, Zirkzee has already agreed to make a loan move to Serie A side Juventus during the January window.
It would enable Zirkzee to reconnect with former manager Thiago Motta, who was his boss when he was playing at Bologna before his move to United.
During his time at Bologna, the Dutch striker scored 14 goals in 58 games, contributing nine assists too. A loan move away could be what he needs to re-ignite some of the form that he had shown last season.
Manchester United could pursue Juventus star in swap deal
If Zirkzee does move to Juventus, it will only strengthen rumours that United are interested in striker Dusan Vlahovic, who is on fire at the moment for the Italian side.
The Serbia international had already generated interest from Premier League rivals Arsenal, however, reports linking Vlahovic with a move to the Emirates have since quietened.
The 24-year-old has 12 goals in 23 appearances so far this year, a much improved number on Zirkzee, and could help provide Ruben Amorim with a source of goals, something that the United boss will be desperate for.
The Red Devils have scored 23 goals in 20 Premier League games this year, making them the joint-fifth lowest scoring team in the division.
