Paris Saint-Germain have begun talks with Manchester United over the signing of winger Jadon Sancho.
The 24-year-old’s future at Old Trafford is uncertain after he spent the past six months on loan at Borussia Dortmund.
According to Sky Sports, with personal terms already agreed upon, Sancho is open to a move to the French capital. Both teams will now begin to agree on a transfer fee for the winger.
Sancho hasn’t had the best relationship with Manchester United boss Erik Ten Hag, however, the two have spoken and the winger is now back in training with United having played during pre-season.
Surprisingly, Sancho featured in United’s last pre-season game playing as a number nine following an injury to striker Rasmus Hojlund. Ten Hag has touted the possibility of starting the season with the ex-Dortmund man up top.
How much could Manchester United sell Jadon Sancho for?
The Red Devils seem more keen on holding onto Sancho than previously so they may decide to ask for a hefty fee to secure his signature. The English winger joined United for a fee of £73 million.
It is unlikely that United could get that much for him this time around, however, they won’t want to sell him on the cheap and take a big financial loss on Sancho.
Sancho could stay at Old Trafford this summer
Having made up with boss Erik Ten Hag, there is every chance that Jadon Sancho could remain a Manchester United player this season.
Following on from his appearance in pre-season as a striker, it is clear that United value him as a player, and seeing as they are yet to add a second striker in the transfer market, he could be a useful asset.
Sancho’s form at Old Trafford has been up and down. The 24-year-old has made 82 appearances for the Red Devils, scoring 12 goals and 6 assists.
