Federico Chiesa’s representative, Fali Ramadani, has been speaking to Manchester United, according to La Stampa (via TMW).

The Italian newspaper says the winger’s agent is exploring potential options as the Italian international seeks a move away from Juventus this summer.

Chiesa is not in the Bianconeri’s plans and he will be sold if a suitable offer arrives before the transfer deadline at the end of this month.

La Stampa claim that all avenues are being investigated but the player looks unlikely to remain in Serie A, with Napoli and Roma eyeing other targets.

Bayern Munich has also been floated as a destination but even that possibility has faded in recent days. It is believed that a switch to the Premier League is now the likeliest scenario for Chiesa.

United are not the only Premier League team in the mix

Ramadani has also reportedly spoken to Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham about a potential transfer, in addition to the Red Devils.

United have, though, been the club most heavily linked with Chiesa, with reports last month suggesting that he had been offered in a swap deal for Jadon Sancho.

However, at the moment, there is no clear favourite to sign the player, with his future unlikely to be resolved until the final days of the transfer window.

Chiesa is available for a low price

The 26-year-old could be sold for below €30m (£25m) as he has less than a year left on his contract. His stock has fallen sharply since his performances at Euro 2020. World Cup winner Bruno Conti once hailed Chiesa’s ability by saying:

“He has all the quality to do well because he is a genuine talent. He can play on either flank depending on whether the coach asks him to get to the byline and cross or pull back inside and try for a shot. In order to do that, you need your basic technique to be flawless.”
