Manchester United Set To Sign French Striker With 9 Goals In 16 Games

Manchester United are set to announce the signing of a French striker in the coming days after agreeing to sign him earlier this week.

Ruben Amorim is desperate for more attacking talent this summer, as he hopes to rebuild his Manchester United squad in order to be more competitive in the Premier League next season.

They have already signed Matheus Cunha from Wolves, and have been linked to several world-class strikers including Viktor Gyokeres, Victor Osimhen, and Liam Delap (who joined Chelsea).

Brentford’s Bryan Mbeumo is also on Manchester United’s shortlist; however, they are facing competition from Thomas Frank’s Tottenham for his signature, as the Danish manager wants to bring him to North London with him.

Manchester United sign French striker

For all the players they have been linked to, Manchester United have signed an unknown striker from French side Le Harve, called Enzo Kana-Biyik.

According to the Manchester Evening News, Manchester United are set to formally announce the signing of Kana-Biyik, who is set to follow in the footsteps of Paul Pogba, who also joined Manchester United from Le Harve back in his youth.

Kana-Biyik is full of potential, and has shown that he is already a proven goal scorer despite being just 18 years-old. He scored nine goals and provided one assist in 16 appearances last season, and has also been called up to the France U18s side.

He is the son of former Cameroon international Andre Kana-Biyik, who was part of the Cameroon side that almost beat England in the 1990 World Cup Quarter-finals, so Enzo has plenty of footballing pedigree in his blood.

The signing mirrors what United did by signing Chido Obi-Martin from Arsenal last summer, and Ayden Heaven in January. He is very much an addition for the future, but based on how his career has gone so far, Kana-Biyik is definitely one to watch at Manchester United.
