The agent of Cerro Porteno left-back Diego Leon is “currently in England” with the player set to seal a move to Manchester United, according to ESPN reporter Roberto Rojas.
The journalist claims that the Red Devils are expected to pay around $6m (£4.7m) for the Paraguayan defender:
In what has already been a crazy day for Paraguayan footballers linked with the Premier League, 17-year-old left-back Diego León of Cerro Porteño is possibly on his way to Manchester United.

Leon has also been linked with both Arsenal and Manchester City, but it appears as if United have stolen a march on their rivals.
What do United fans need to know about the player?
Leon only made his senior debut for Cerro Porteno back in August, and it was pretty memorable too, as he scored the winner in a 1-0 victory over CS Ameliano.
The 17-year-old would go on to score in his third first-team appearance as well, although he couldn’t prevent his team from losing 2-1 to Club General Caballero on that occasion.
Despite having played just 19 senior matches, his performances have already attracted the attention of United and other English teams.
Leon has spoken out about a potential move to Old Trafford
When asked about the interest being shown in him from United, the fullback said that he would leave those sorts of matters to his representatives:
“I’ve read about Manchester United’s link with me, I don’t know anything. Everything is handled by my agent. I spent four years preparing for this opportunity. You have to take advantage of it when it comes.”
“Now I’m thinking about everything that happened this season. The night before the debut, I couldn’t sleep because of the excitement.”
