Manchester United have asked Napoli to pay £70m for Alejandro Garnacho, according to journalist Gianluca Di Marzio.
The Serie A league leaders are looking for a replacement for Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, who looks set to join Paris Saint-Germain.
Garnacho is under consideration but Di Marzio says that United’s asking price is “too much” and they may walk away if they can’t agree a lower fee. Fans on X disagree on the current valuation with some believing it is a fair amount while others feel that the Red Devils should be asking for more:
70million??sell him!!!!

70M is too cheap for Garna. A serious buyer should bring nothing less 120M

Don’t think this is a good idea….he’s still young with lots to offer talent, we haven’t seen the best of him yet

It would be a surprise if United sold two wingers in January
With Marcus Rashford also expected to leave Old Trafford before the transfer window closes, the departure of Garnacho in addition to the England international would seriously weaken Ruben Amorim’s options up front.
For that reason, you wouldn’t bet on the Red Devils sanctioning the departures of both players this month.
Garnacho has worked his way back into Amorim’s plans
After being dropped from the matchday squad for the Manchester derby in December due to disciplinary reasons, the Argentinian international has had to win back the favour of his manager.
Garnacho’s start against Arsenal in the FA Cup at the weekend was his first since the City game last month.
