Manchester United faced a tough 2-1 defeat after a late winner by Joao Pedro handed the Red Devils a defeat at the Amex Stadium. 

Erik Ten Hag’s side went behind after 32 minutes thanks to former striker Danny Welbeck, they then equalised with a goal from Amad Diallo before Joao Pedro netted the winner in the 95th minute.

It gives Brighton two wins from two as United have three points from their first two games before they face a visiting Liverpool next Sunday at Old Trafford.
