Manchester United recovered from a rocky start against Southampton to secure a comfortable win at St Mary’s on Saturday afternoon.

Manager Erik ten Hag needed to see a response after the dismal performance versus Liverpool before the international break and he got what he wanted.

It remains to be seen whether the Red Devils can build on this victory as there is still plenty of room for improvement in some areas but it is, nonetheless, something to build on.
