Manchester United Official Line-Up vs Everton

Manchester United Official Line-Up vs Everton

Manchester United travel to Goodison Park where they will hope to pick up 3pts and potentially finish the week in 2nd place.

Injuries to Marcos Rojo, Phil Jones and Michael Carrick mean that a few changes have to be made by LvG. Daley Blind was also a doubt coming into the game, but he is now set to feature.

With Blind being available, it means Wayne Rooney will move from defensive midfield to start back up front in place of Falcao. Johnny Evans is also available for selection once again, after his long suspension, however the defender misses out on a place in the squad so McNair continues to partner the newly contract-extended Chris Smalling and Shaw gets the call again after his terrific game vs Chelsea. So here is how the line-up looks…

(4-3-3)

De Gea

Valencia – Smalling – McNair – Shaw

Blind

Herrera – Fellaini

Mata – Rooney – Young

It is more than likely that Van Gaal will introduce Di Maria during the game, however it seems Mata and Young’s form is still enough to keep the Argentine out of the side and sadly Falcao will have to wait for another opportunity after being kicked and man-handled all game by JT last week vs Chelsea.
