Manchester United suffered a disappointing defeat at the hands of Spurs on Sunday evening.

The mountain of injuries that head coach Ruben Amorim is having to contend with is an important mitigating factor in the result but, even so, the loss at the weekend was concerning.

It was Amorim’s ninth defeat in 21 matches since he took charge of the Red Devils back in mid-November.
