Goalkeeper and Defence
GK – Andre Onana – 5/10 – not at fault for either goal which is an improvement (of sorts), considering his recent performances.
CB – Matthijs de Ligt – 4/10 – Alexander Isak skipped past the Dutchman with ease at one point in the first half. It sums up the centre-back’s limitations.
CB – Harry Maguire – 3/10 – got under the flight of the ball for Isak’s opener before getting into a row with Casemiro about who was to blame.
CB – Lisandro Martinez – 2/10 – the centre-back was given the captain’s armband by Amorim but it didn’t help his performance. His poor communication allowed Isak to ghost in and score unchallenged, before he was outmuscled in the air by Joelinton for the second.
