Goalkeeper and Defence
GK – Andre Onana – 3/10 – the keeper’s miscommunication with Dorgu led to the opener and he was flat-footed as Jayden Philogene’s cross nestled into his net for Ipswich’s second.
CB – Leny Yoro – 7/10 – the teenager looked strong going forward but his defending still needs to improve considerably.
CB – Harry Maguire – 8/10 – kept the dangerous Liam Delap in check for the most part, and he was a threat at the other end too, scoring the vital winner with a header.
CB – Matthijs de Ligt – 7/10 – scored United’s second with an opportunistic finish at the back post but he could have done better with Ipswich’s second goal. He failed to mark Delap properly and that impacted Onana’s ability to stop the cross from Philogene.
