Goalkeeper and Defence
GK – Andre Onana – 6/10 – didn’t have much to do other than keep out an effort from Alex Iwobi early on.
CB – Matthijs de Ligt – 7/10 – it was a very solid display from the Dutchman who gave very little away.
CB – Harry Maguire – 8/10 – won his aerial duels with Raul Jimenez and made a goal-saving clearance with his head to deny Rodrigo Muniz.
CB – Lisandro Martinez – 8/10 – made a crucial late challenge on Emile Smith Rowe before he got up the pitch and scored himself. The deflection off Sasa Lukic made it a somewhat fortuitous goal but United fans won’t care.
