Goalkeeper and Defence
GK – Andre Onana – 6/10 – not at fault for Josko Gvardiol’s goal and he made a good save to tip a Phil Foden shot around the post.
CB – Matthijs de Ligt – 6/10 – a solid defensive performance but it must be said he wasn’t tested that much by City’s forwards.
CB – Harry Maguire – 8/10 – had Erling Haaland in his pocket all game. There was one moment where he just shoved the Norwegian away from the ball and passed it to a teammate. An ideal fit for Amorim’s back three.
CB – Lisandro Martinez – 7/10 – the defender did the basics well and then delivered the pass for Amad’s winner.
