The Ivorian was alert enough to pounce on Matheus Nunes’s poor backpass to win the penalty before rounding the keeper and scoring from a tight angle to secure an unlikely three points.

While the result will delight head coach Ruben Amorim, he will know there is still plenty of room for improvement.
