Saha Criticises Ten Hag’s Treatment Of “Unplayable” United Star Who Can Help Club Challenge For PL Title

Former Manchester United forward Louis Saha has questioned Erik ten Hag’s management style.

Marcus Rashford’s form has improved at the beginning of this season, but ten Hag publicly criticised the player’s past lifestyle before benching him for the draw against Crystal Palace. Speaking to cryptocasinosuk.net, Saha said the manager’s poor communication means he could seriously damage his relationship with one of the club’s best players:

“You don’t treat your best players like that. Marcus Rashford is the only player in that United squad that is completely unplayable on his day. He is the only player in the squad that has the capacity and the potential to score 30 goals a season. Bruno Fernandes can create a lot of assists and dictate the game for Manchester United. He can be the leader on the pitch, but the one player who can win you a game on his own is Marcus Rashford.”

“This is why Erik ten Hag needs to realise that if he wants to have a team that is capable of winning or challenging for the Premier League title, he needs to get the best out of Marcus Rashford. I don’t think that Erik ten Hag understands the consequences of his communication and how it negatively impacts his players.”

Ten Hag has a history of public fallouts

No United fan needs to be reminded about how the manager’s relationship deteriorated with Jadon Sancho once he raised doubts about the player’s efforts in training.

The fallout with Cristiano Ronaldo was slightly different, with the Portuguese legend instigating the situation with a TV interview, but everything was still played out in public.

Can United challenge for the title with Rashford in the team?

Some may argue that United’s chances of challenging the likes of Manchester City and Arsenal in the future will be hindered by keeping faith in Rashford, based on his most recent form.

However, as Saha says, if the 26-year-old performs at his best, he can be “unplayable”. It is right to ask why ten Hag has failed to get the most out of him over the past 12 months.
