Manchester United New Arrival Celebrates First Goal With Instagram Post

Manchester United midfielder Marcel Sabitzer, on loan from Bayern Munich, has celebrated his first goal for the club with a post on Instagram.

His first Manchester United goal came during the Red Devils’ FA Cup tie against Fulham, where they ran out as 3-1 winners after the Cottagers received two reds cards. Sabitzer capped off a determined display with a goal in the 77th minute of the game.

Sabitzer captioned his Instagram post by writing: “Turnaround. First goal. Semifinal.”

Sabitzer’s post has been liked by over 500,000 users on Instagram – among them are David De Gea, Harry Maguire and the suspended Casemiro.

In the game against Fulham, United fell behind early in the second half, thanks to a goal from Aleksandar Mitrovic. However, just beyond the 70th minute of the game, Fulham completely captitulated.

Willian was sent off and conceded a penalty after handling the ball on the line, prompting a furious reaction from both Mitrovic and Fulham manager Marco Silva – who were both also given their marching orders. Bruno Fernandes scored the penalty, followed by Sabitzer’s goal just two minutes later.

The Austrian international was brought to the club on February 1, to help fill the gap left by the injured Christian Eriksen. In the next round of the FA Cup, United will take on Brighton at the Amex Stadium.
