“The Perfect Fit” – Dwight Yorke Urges United To Appoint Ex-Arsenal Manager Instead Of Amorim

Ex-Manchester United striker Dwight Yorke has backed Aston Villa manager Unai Emery to succeed Erik ten Hag at Old Trafford.

Speaking to SafestCasinoSites.co.uk, Yorke said he has witnessed how the former Arsenal boss has transformed the fortunes of the Villans since his arrival at the club and he feels that the Spaniard can replicate that success at United:

“It’s a huge job. We know the size of the job at hand. Whoever takes the job knows it’s not going to be a walk in the park going in there. Go in there and embrace being the manager of Manchester United. Embrace the expectation that the fans all over the world have. Live it and breathe it every single day from the moment you walk in the door until the moment you walk out. It’s an enormous challenge, but what a challenge.”

“With the experience Emery’s got, the transformation he’s brought to Aston Villa, the way he’s conducted himself with the media, he’s the perfect man. Since he went to Villa, he’s been a tremendous success. He’s turned Villa into a really top club in the toughest league in the world, got them punching above their weight consistently. He’s turned Villa into a team that can beat anyone. Nobody expects an easy ride against Villa. If he brings his energy, his philosophy, to Man United, I think it’s the perfect fit.”

Emery has an outstanding record at Villa

Since replacing Steven Gerrard at Villa Park in November 2022, Emery has won 53 of his 96 games in charge, giving him a win ratio of 55.21%.

In his two campaigns, he has guided Villa to 7th and 4th in the table, and his team are currently top of the Champions League standings after three games played.

United have seemingly identified their man to replace ten Hag

Multiple reports have confirmed that the Red Devils have already entered discussions with Sporting Lisbon boss Ruben Amorim.

The 39-year-old is believed to be keen on taking the job but United will need to pay at least €10m (£8.4m) to trigger a release clause in his contract.
