Manchester United Injury News Vs Leeds United

Erik Ten Hag and Manchester United could be missing a number of key players for their game against Leeds United on Wednesday evening, with a further few being strong doubts.

Christian Eriksen, Scott McTominay and Donny Van De Beek will all definitely miss out on United’s game against the Whites. McTominay has made the most progress of the three with his injury, but the match on Wednesday will likely come too soon for the Scottish international.

Eriksen will likely be out until the end of April with his ankle problem, while Van De Beek could return to the squad in March – he’s been suffering with a knee injury.

Anthony Martial, who has had rotten luck with injuries this season, is a major doubt for the game against Leeds. Ten Hag said that Martial has suffered a ‘setback’ and made it clear that he will exercise patience during Martial’s rehabilitation.

Additionally, Casemiro is also set to miss out on the midweek fixture at Old Trafford due to suspension. The Brazilian was sent off in United’s previous Premier League match against Crystal Palace, after putting his hands around the neck of Will Hughes. Due to this, Casemiro will miss the next three games in the Premier League – something that could prove to be a hammer blow for the Red Devils.

Leeds have just sacked their now former head coach, Jesse Marsch. Will we see a reaction from the Whites, or will Manchester United paint the town red in this War of the Roses derby?
