Manchester United Injury News: The Latest On Pogba, McTominay And Rojo

Manchester United’s injury situation is certainly hindering results, and despite a number of players getting close to making a comeback, the Red Devils are still missing key personnel heading into games against Astana and Aston Villa this week.

Paul Pogba is stepping up his rehabilitation from an ankle injury but manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has emphasised that it could still be a while before he recovers full match fitness.

Scott McTominay picked up his own ankle issue before the international break against Brighton. He is expected to be back to play either Tottenham on the 4th December or in the Manchester derby on the 7th.

Marcos Rojo has a muscular injury which means he will be out for another couple of weeks. He has an outside chance of being available to face City at the Etihad.

Luke Shaw (hamstring) and Nemanja Matic (knock) are back in training but were deemed not fit enough to feature against Sheffield United. They may get some action against Astana this Thursday.

Diogo Dalot is closing in on making his comeback from a groin strain but no return date has been set, while Eric Bailly and Timothy Fosu-Mensah are still at least a month away from returning from their respective knee injuries.
