Latest Manchester United Injury News & Expected Return Dates: Updates On Mason Mount & Six Others

Manchester United midfielder Mason Mount is currently being assessed before Manchester United clashes with Liverpool this weekend.

Mount had to come off during United’s 2-1 loss to Brighton last weekend with an issue and Erik Ten Hag didn’t want to risk him due to the midfielder’s injury history.

He was replaced by new signing Joshua Zirkzee who scored in his debut against Fulham on the opening day.

When speaking about Mount after the game, Ten Hag said:  “He mentioned an issue, and I don’t want to take the risk with him. I don’t know how much of a worry it is, I can’t say at this moment.

“But I think, when we have the good bench, and we can bring in Zirkzee, then don’t hesitate. Bring Mount off and bring [on] a player who can have an impact.”

He has a 50% chance of being available for Sunday’s clash with Liverpool.

Expected return date – unknown
