Manchester United midfielder Kobbie Mainoo could be in line to return in their next game after the international break.
The England international was not ready for a call-up by Lee Carsley meaning that he will have the international break to recover before United’s next game against Ipswich Town.
Mainoo has been out since late September when he suffered a hamstring injury in Manchester United’s 3-0 defeat against Tottenham Hotspur which led to Erik Ten Hag‘s job being in serious jeopardy.
The midfielder could return for Ruben Amorim‘s first game on the 24th of November as he is progressing closer and closer to getting back into full training with the team.
Expected return date – Sunday 24 November vs Ipswich Town (A)
Harry Maguire
Centre-back Harry Maguire also missed out on an England call-up for Lee Carsley’s final group of games as interim England boss before Thomas Tuchel takes over the role in January.
The defender is dealing with a calf issue that he suffered during United’s 0-0 draw against Aston Villa before the October international break.
He is in recovery and is doing individual work still to try and come back for Ruben Amorim’s first game, he is on a similar timeline to Mainoo.
