Defender Luke Shaw re-injured his calf whilst on international duty with England at Euro 2024. He came back during the tournament only to aggravate the issue later on.
Towards the end of August, Manchester United boss Erik Ten Hag said: “Luke is massively important, so we want to get him back as soon as possible, but we can’t force this process.”
He could be in line to face his former club in Southampton this weekend, but the 29-year-old is still a doubt.
