Jonny Evans has not featured since the Red Devils’ defeat to Tottenham in the Carabao Cup in mid December.
Subsequent reports have suggested that the veteran defender is suffering from lower back pain but there is no estimate as to when he will be available again.

Mason Mount has not been seen in action since being taken off in the early stages of the Manchester derby a couple of months ago.
At the time, Amorim estimated that the midfielder would be sidelined for “several weeks”, but it has been subsequently claimed that he may only return at some point in March.
