Latest Manchester United Injury News And Expected Return Dates: Updates On Luke Shaw, Leny Yoro & Three More

Manchester United defender Luke Shaw is likely to return for the opening Premier League game against Fulham on Friday.

The 29-year-old has been dealing with a thigh injury since February but looks to be back to match fitness after a lengthy period in recovery.

Shaw only managed to play 42 minutes in the entire Euro 2024 tournament for England and was rushed back even then. Erik Ten Hag had said that he was a “question mark” for the Community Shield on Sunday; the defender was unable to play.

He has had a couple of seasons ravaged by injury problems. The left-back will be hoping that he can stay fully fit for United who have limited backup at the position.

Last time out, centre-back Lisandro Martinez had to move to cover Shaw on the wing resulting in an appearance for 35-year-old Jonny Evans in defence.

Expected return date – Friday 16 August vs Fulham
