Manchester United Have The Top Two Ranked Premier League Players In FIFA 17

So EA Sports released the rankings for FIFA 17 yesterday and it made decent reading for United fans, not that these rankings necessarily translate into performance on the field but it does give you an idea of how Premier League players are ramked against their fellow players playing for United’s title rivals. So the unrivalled striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic came in an impressive first tied with United’s imperious, arguably the best in the world goal-keeper David De Gea with a stellar ranking of 90. De Gea’s ranking placed him ahead of the other keepers in the top 20 in the form of Chelsea’s Thibaut Courtois in joint third place on 89 and Arsenal’s Petr Cech and Tottenham’s Hugo Lloris both in joint sixth place on 88.

Somewhat surprisingly the only other Manchester United player to make the top 20 ranked Premier League players in FIFA 17 was the transfer fee record-breaking signing, midfield general Paul Pogba who came in ranked joint sixth on 88 only two points out of top spot occupied by his two team-mates.

So Manchester United came fourth among Premier League sides with only three players in the top 20 ranked Premier League players in FIFA 17 while both Arsenal and Chelsea came joint first with five players in the top 20 with United’s noisy neighbours Manchester City coming third as they had four players in the top 20. Liverpool, Tottenham and West Ham all came in joint 5th place among Premier League sides with one player each in the top 20. You can see the full list of the players and their rankings from EA Sports.
