Manchester United have big money bid accepted for Chelsea star

Chelsea have accepted Manchester United’s £66 million bid for Willian, according to reports.

Italian outlet Tuttosport report the two clubs have come to an agreement to allow the Brazilian to move to Old Trafford this summer.

Willian looked certain to be on his way to Barcelona after months of speculation linking him with a move to the Camp Nou, however after Chelsea rejected the Catalans bid for the 29-year-old, they instead turned their attention to Bordeaux star Malcom.

The 21-year-old completed his £36.5 million move earlier this week, leaving the door open for Manchester United to move for Willian.

Jose Mourinho is a known admirer of the Chelsea winger, and has previously hinted of his desire of a re-union with his former star.

And the Portuguese’s wish could soon come true with new Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri reportedly ready to let Willian leave The Bridge this summer as he looks to rebuild his squad ahead of the new season.

Sarri has previously stated he would like to keep the Brazil international at the club, however may allow him to leave if he wishes to move elsewhere.

“It’s a pleasure to have Courtois, to have Willian, to have Hazard,” said Sarri, “but it [their futures] doesn’t depend on me, not only on me.

“So, we have to wait. I’m confident.”
