Manchester United Could Now Sign Left Back Target For 18.5M After Asking Price Is Slashed

Porto have lowered their valuation for left-back Alex Telles to €20m (£18.5m), according to A BOLA. The Portuguese champions were looking to sell for €30m (£28m) but after failing to find any suitors, they have slashed their price tag.

The defender’s contract expires at the end of the season and Porto are desperate to sell him before the transfer window closes next month. They are hopeful that the new asking price will attract Manchester United to the table, who are looking to sign a left-back before deadline day.

The Red Devils have been looking at Real Madrid’s Sergio Reguilon, although the 23-year-old would cost more (he is valued at around €30m) and there has been talk that he would favour a return to Sevilla on loan.

Whether Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side will now turn their attention to Telles, we shall have to wait and see. The Brazilian international is certainly available for a knockdown price but will it be enough to tempt United into making a bid?
