Osimhen Speaks Out On Future Amid Claims That Manchester United Target Is 95% Certain To Seal Summer Switch

Manchester United transfer target Victor Osimhen insists that he does not know what will happen when his loan deal at Galatasaray ends this summer.

The Nigerian international joined the Turkish side until the end of the season back in September after relations with Napoli broke down. Asked about his future plans in a recent interview, Osimhen replied:

“Until a few months ago no one would have imagined that I could come and play at Galatasaray and many thought that I would leave in January.”

“As for me, I live in the moment and I don’t know what will happen in the summer. I love these fans, the club, the city, for me it’s a privilege and I’m enjoying this experience here.”

Osimhen is “95%” certain to move clubs

Napoli Magazine reported last week that the likelihood of the striker leaving Napoli on a permanent basis at the end of the season is as high as 95%.

There is a release clause in his contract that means interested teams outside of Italy can sign Osimhen for €75m (£62m).

Manchester United, Chelsea and Arsenal are the three English clubs deemed the most likely to make an offer for the Nigerian.

When will the United target make a decision on his future?

Journalist Fabrizio Romano claims that Osimhen is unlikely to communicate a preferred destination to his agent until April at the very earliest.

As the player has said himself, he is currently focused on performing well for Galatasaray. The Turkish side are currently top of the domestic league, having not lost any of their 24 fixtures so far.

Osimhen has found the back of the net 14 times in the Turkish Super Lig with another 6 goals coming in the Europa League.
