Man Utd have added Arsenal defender Myles Lewis-Skelly to their list of summer transfer targets, according to reports.

Sky Sports reported on Wednesday that the Red Devils are keen on recruiting Newcastle’s Lewis Hall or Eintracht Frankfurt’s Nathaniel Brown for the left-back position.

However, one of their journalists, Danyal Khan, now says Lewis-Skelly is another possible option. United supporters on X are split on whether the 19-year-old would be a good addition to the squad:

Lewis-Skelly has had limited game time

The teenager seemed to have the world at his feet last season after he broke into Arsenal’s starting lineup following an injury to Riccardo Calafiori.

However, the arrival of Piero Hincapie from Bayer Leverkusen has limited Lewis-Skelly’s minutes this campaign.

The fullback has started just one Premier League game, and there are suggestions that he would be open to leaving the Emirates in order to get more first-team football.

Arsenal may look to sell the Man Utd target

Khan has confirmed that the Gunners may consider offloading Lewis-Skelly as they look to raise funds for other signings.

The Premier League leaders have issues with PSR, and offloading a homegrown player would greatly help their financial situation.

It is still up for debate, though, whether they would sanction the sale of Lewis-Skelly to a direct rival.
