Man Utd are weighing up a “surprise move” for Arsenal’s Myles Lewis-Skelly, according to reports.
TalkSPORT claim that the Red Devils have identified the 19-year-old as a potential alternative to Newcastle’s Lewis Hall.
Some fans on X believe Lewis-Skelly would be a good signing, but some have doubts after he ended last season playing for Arsenal in midfield:

Is Lewis-Skelly a realistic target?
The teenager did finish last season strongly, having been selected by manager Mikel Arteta to start the Champions League final.
However, the Gunners’ pursuit of Newcastle captain Bruno Guimaraes means his place in midfield is under threat, and he will not get many minutes at left-back either after the decision to sign Piero Hincapie on a permanent basis. The Ecuadorian and Riccardo Calafiori are Arteta’s two favoured options in that position.
For that reason, Lewis-Skelly could well find himself out in the cold once again, which may ultimately lead him to decide that he should leave the Emirates.

What is the latest on Lewis Hall’s move to Man Utd?
The likelihood of a bid being officially lodged for the defender is increasing. Sky Sports reporter Keith Downie, who is a highly trusted source when it comes to Newcastle, says the Red Devils hold a serious interest and the player is open to the move.
Hall’s asking price is said to be in excess of £60m, and it remains to be seen if Michael Carrick’s side can come up with an offer that the Magpies would accept.
