‘Would Be Perfect’ ‘100% Worth That Price’ Fans React As Man Utd Consider Triggering Striker’s Buyout Clause

Manchester United are “interested in signing” Wolves forward Matheus Cunha, according to reports.

The Brazilian international has a £62.5m release clause in his contract and talkSPORT claim that the Red Devils will consider triggering it.

While some supporters on X are not convinced that Cunha is the answer to the club’s problems up front, many believe he would be an improvement on their current options:

Several Premier League clubs want Cunha

TalkSPORT report that Arsenal and Nottingham Forest are also seriously considering a move for the 25-year-old. However, it is believed that the player is keener on joining one of the traditional “Big Six”.

That means that even if Forest qualify for the Champions League, and United don’t, Cunha may still favour a switch to Old Trafford.

United are looking at several strikers

It is not known how far up the list of targets Cunha is but his ability to play as both 9 or 10 means he would can be deployed right across the front three.

If the Red Devils opt for a more traditional striker, they may consider different targets. Ruben Amorim’s side are also believed to be interested in the likes of Ipswich’s Liam Delap, Sporting Lisbon’s Viktor Gyokeres, RB Leipzig’s Benjamin Sesko and Napoli’s Victor Osimhen.
