Despite having recently been called up by the Ivory Coast for their Under-23s, Godo is English, having been brought up in the capital.
He spent some time in West Ham’s academy, as well as spells at non-league sides Dartford and Margate, where he made his senior debut.
However, Fulham were the team that gave Godo his first professional deal, having joined the Cottagers in March 2022.
The winger was a slightly late developer, considering his switch to Fulham came when he was already 19.
