1) Maxi Araujo
The Uruguayan international is currently playing for Amorim’s former club Sporting Lisbon, so it is not a surprise that he is on United’s radar.
Araujo has played mostly as a conventional left-back in a 4-3-3 this season but he does have experience of playing in a 5-man backline as well.
In fact, the 25-year-old was deployed there against Avs FS at the weekend, and he got a brace during a 6-0 win.
It must be pointed out, though, that those goals were Araujo’s first in the league this season.
