It should be pointed out that the youngster is still only 17 years of age, so he doesn’t have a great deal of experience under his belt.
Castillo made his first senior appearance against Orense SC in Ecuador’s top tier at the beginning of March.
The midfielder came on for the final few minutes as LDU Quito secured a resounding 4-0 win.
Castillo has gone on to make 6 first-team appearances, with his last game coming against Universidad Catolica back in September when he got his first assist during a 4-2 defeat.
