Man Utd could sign Nottingham Forest goalkeeper Angus Gunn as backup for Senne Lammens, according to reports.
The Red Devils are hopeful of offloading both Altay Bayindir and Andre Onana before the end of the summer, and The Sun claim they have identified the Scotland international as a potential replacement.
Gunn came through the youth academy of rivals Man City, and Director of Football Jason Wilcox worked with him during his time at the Etihad.
The shot-stopper is now 30 years of age, and he is about to be released by Forest, so he could be snapped up on a free transfer.

Despite being Forest’s third-choice keeper, Gunn is Scotland’s no.1, having started all three of their group matches.
After starting the opening two fixtures against Haiti and Morocco, he was also in action for his country last night versus Brazil.
That level of experience means he would be perfectly suited to providing cover for Lammens, who is very much at the opposite end of his career.

Man Utd are looking at other goalkeepers
Leeds United’s Karl Darlow and former United youth team star Sam Johnstone are also said to be names under consideration for the no.2 spot.
Johnstone spent the best part of a decade with the Red Devils, but he didn’t make a single first-team appearance before leaving on a permanent basis for West Brom in 2018.
Even if a new addition isn’t brought in, though, manager Michael Carrick is not short of other alternatives in goal. Tom Heaton remains on the club’s books, having signed a one-year extension earlier this month.
Radek Vitek has returned from a successful loan spell at Championship side Bristol City, too, so he could be utilised next season if he isn’t sold along with Bayindir and Onana.
