Goalkeeper and Defence
GK – Senne Lammens – the Belgian was mostly a spectator against Spurs, but he may be slightly busier tonight.
RB – Diogo Dalot – Carrick seems to rate the Portuguese international ahead of Noussair Mazraoui, and his cross for Bruno Fernandes’s goal on Saturday demonstrates why he will continue to start games.
CB – Harry Maguire – the Tottenham game was arguably a step down on recent displays, but he should relish the challenge against target man Taty Castellanos.
CB – Lautaro Martinez – he still seems to be finding his feet following his ACL, but the Argentinian international is getting there.
LB – Luke Shaw – we probably need to stop talking about his injury record, considering his availability this season. He should start his second game in 4 days.
