Goalkeeper and Defence
GK – Senne Lammens – the Belgian’s performances have been great, but he wouldn’t mind a few more clean sheets. He has just 5 in 24 appearances.
RB – Diogo Dalot – Noussair Mazraoui sustained a knock against Newcastle, so the Portuguese international is expected to be recalled.
CB – Leny Yoro – the teenager will keep his place with Lisandro Martinez unlikely to be available due to a calf problem.
CB – Harry Maguire – the 32-year-old will have his hands full with Ollie Watkins, and he will need to use all his experience to marshal Yoro through the game as well.
LB – Luke Shaw – illness affected the left-back’s last two performances. It is hoped that the sizeable break between fixtures has given him time to fully recover.
