Goalkeeper and Defence
GK – Senne Lammens – 6/10 – made a decent stop from Crysencio Summerville in the first half, but he couldn’t react fast enough for Soucek’s goal.
RB – Diogo Dalot – 4/10 – found it difficult against the in-form Summerville, and he nearly caused problems with a bad backpass.
CB – Harry Maguire – 7/10 – won his fair share of duels, but there are concerns about his fitness, with Yoro coming on to replace him midway through the second half.
CB – Lisandro Martinez – 5/10 – he was caught ball watching for Soucek’s goal. Not great.
LB – Luke Shaw – 4/10 – had a shot cleared off the line in the first half, but his game will be remembered for his poor defending in the build-up to West Ham’s goal. He failed to deal with Jarrod Bowen initially and then left him unmarked after lunging in to make up for his mistake.
