Man Utd sealed victory in their final home game of the season against Nottingham Forest on Sunday afternoon.
Luke Shaw put the Red Devils into an early lead, which they held until halftime. However, Forest got back on level terms through a close-range header from Morato.
Matheus Cunha restored the home side’s advantage (somewhat controversially) before a record-equalling assist from captain Bruno Fernandes set up United’s third for Bryan Mbeumo. Morgan Gibbs-White made things a bit nervy, but Michael Carrick’s men held onto the three points.
