Goalkeeper and Defence

GK – Senne Lammens – 4/10 – made a decent save early on from Dominic Calvert-Lewin, but some of his passing out from the back got his defenders into trouble, especially the chance for Ao Tanaka, which forced Martinez to clear off his own line.

RB – Noussair Mazraoui – 3/10 – it wasn’t completely the Moroccan’s fault as he was doubled up on by Okafor and Gabriel Gudmundsson, with Amad failing to track back, but Mazraoui couldn’t cope.

CB – Leny Yoro – 3/10 – got harassed by Calvert-Lewin, leading to Leeds’ opener. The 20-year-old also misplaced a number of passes.

CB – Lisandro Martinez – 3/10 – his goal-saving challenge on Tanaka was outstanding, but all his good work was undone by a silly, petulant hair pull on Calvert-Lewin.

LB – Luke Shaw – 4/10 – struggled with Jayden Bogle’s overlaps (with Matheus Cunha not always tracking back). A counter-attack forced Shaw into picking up a yellow card after a cynical foul on Bogle.
