Michael Carrick bemoaned officiating for the soft sending off of Lisandro Martinez, but the performance in general was simply not good enough.

Ironically, Carrick’s team only got going after Martinez’s dismissal, with Casemiro pulling one back after a Noah Okafor brace had put the visitors 2-0 up. As it was, the Red Devils left themselves with too much to do after halftime.
