Casemiro opened the scoring with a trademark header from a Bruno Fernandes corner. Ross Barkley pegged the home side back 10 minutes later, but United soon regained control.

Fernandes was once again the creator, sliding a precise through ball to Matheus Cunha, who finished emphatically. Substitute Benjamin Sesko then sealed the three points with a deflected shot.
