Michael Carrick continued his outstanding start to life as Man Utd interim manager by securing a 3-2 win against league leaders Arsenal on Sunday evening.

A Lisandro Martinez own goal put the home side in the lead, but a mistake from Martin Zubimendi helped the Red Devils get back on level terms before halftime, with Bryan Mbeumo pouncing on the error.

Things got even better for the visitors in the second half when Patrick Dorgu smashed a superb long-range effort in off the bar to make it 2-1. Mikel Merino thought he had stolen a point for the Gunners, but substitute Matheus Cunha scored an outstanding winner to send the travelling away fans into raptures.
